How to get set up with Duet Display

Getting set up with Duet Display is easy and only takes a few steps. Whether using Duet Display to make any screen into a second display, a remote desktop, a drawing pad or to access and connect with any device through code, follow these steps to get going.

Duet works on every major platform: Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. Download Duet Display and install on both devices you want to connect.

Remote functionality requires a host application to be installed on the computers you would like to manage.

To install the Duet Display app, please double-click on the .app file, which will install Duet in your Applications folder. Once installed, you will see the app's icon in the menu at the top right of your Mac (a lower case d with a circle around it). If you need to change any settings, click on the menu bar icon to open Duet's UI on macOS.

Once installed, please sign in on the desktop and enable screen sharing in the Duet settings. The computer should then appear on the iOS Duet app's "Air" tab.
